BSP supremo Mayawati has raised questions on the report of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed to investigate the Hathras stampede case. Mayawati also wrote on a twitter that the silence of the SIT about the role of chief organizer Surajpal alias 'Bhole Baba' is also a cause for concern. She said that strict action will be taken against Surajpal.
Mayawati wrote on a social media platform that "The painful death of 121 innocent women and children etc. in the Satsang stampede incident in Hathras, UP, is a living example of government negligence.
