Captain America is taken over by Anthony Mackie, who was previously known as Sam Wilson, aka the Falcon. Steve Rogers left the position vacant. In 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame,” Steve said goodbye to his fellow superheroes and gave Sam his vibranium shield, entrusting him with the Captain America heritage.

The latest teaser introduces Mackie’s Captain America to Harrison Ford’s Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, the president of the United States. Ross is setting the scenario for a high-stakes story when he attempts to recruit Cap as a U.S. agent. The teaser builds rapidly, showing Captain America foiling a White House assassination plot.https://24indiannews.com/update-on-sarfira-https-24indiannews-comp122/

The story ends with a glimpse of the powerful gamma-irradiated enemy known as Red Hulk, who is actually “Thunderbolt” Ross’s alter ego in the Marvel comics. It remains to be seen if the movie will follow the comic plot exactly.

In the Disney+ series “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” when he collaborated with Sebastian Stan’s character, Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier, to fight a terrorist organization, Marvel fans first saw Sam Wilson don the Captain America suit. The show was well praised by viewers and was nominated for five Emmys.

Anthony Mackie is back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with “Captain America: Brave New World”. A number of well-known names from “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” are in the cast, including Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley and Danny Ramirez, who is back as the new Falcon. Giancarlo Esposito plays an enigmatic villain in the movie, and Shira Haas plays the Israeli superhero Sabra. Harrison Ford enters the MCU, replacing the late William Hurt in the role of “Thunderbolt” Ross. The movie also reunites Tim Blake Nelson as the Leader and Liv Tyler as Betty Ross from “The Incredible Hulk.”

With a director credit of Julius Onah and screenplay credits going to Malcolm Spellman, Dalan Musson, and Matthew Orton, “Captain America: Brave New World” will open in theaters on February 12, 2025. Fans can’t wait to see how Sam Wilson, the new Captain America, will handle his new responsibilities and the obstacles that lie ahead.
